If your week needs a soundtrack, the Barrowland Ballroom has you covered. Glasgow's most beloved live venue is serving up three very different — and very brilliant — nights of music this week, kicking off with Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid on Monday night.

Sigrid — Monday 24 March

The Bergen-born singer-songwriter who burst onto the scene with "Don't Kill My Vibe" brings her electrifying live show to the Barrowlands on Monday. Now two albums deep and riding high on the success of How to Let Go, Sigrid has established herself as one of Europe's most thrilling pop performers — all soaring vocals, boundless energy, and the kind of stage presence that makes even a 1,900-capacity room feel intimate.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra — Wednesday 26 March

Two days later, the mood shifts entirely as New Zealand psych-rock outfit Unknown Mortal Orchestra take the stage. Led by Ruban Nielson, UMO blend woozy psychedelia, lo-fi funk and oddball pop into something utterly their own. Their latest album V is their most ambitious yet, and their live shows — layered, groovy, occasionally transcendent — are the perfect match for the Barrowlands' famously springy dancefloor.

Clearwater Creedence Revival + Ten Years After — Thursday 27 March

Thursday brings a double bill of classic rock heritage. Clearwater Creedence Revival deliver the timeless catalogue of Creedence Clearwater Revival — "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising," "Fortunate Son" — while Ten Years After, the band that set Woodstock alight in 1969, bring their blues-rock firepower. If you're partial to a bit of rock history done loud and proud, this is your night.
